Required Policies

As the lawful parent or guardian, I agree to release and hold harmless As You Are Dance Movement (AYA), including its owners and all personnel, from any and all responsibility, claims, or legal actions that may arise from any injury, loss, or harm—including but not limited to illness or death—sustained by the participant and/or myself while on the premises of AYA, at any location under its direction, or during travel to and from any such location or event connected with its programs.

Payment is processed immediately upon card authorization. In order to complete your registration, payment must be processed and confirmed. Failure to make payment at the time of registration will result in your registration not being secured.

A minimum number of participants is required for the session to proceed. While this situation is unlikely, if for any reason the minimum number of participants is not met, you will be notified, and the session will be canceled. In this case, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Sign-ups are on a session basis; therefore, missed classes are non-refundable and make-up classes are not offered. After the second class of the program occurs, no refunds will be given. If your child's spot meets the minimum enrollment required for the class to run, no refunds will be issued at all.

If a cancellation is requested within the refund window, a prorated refund may be issued minus a $20 cancellation fee.

AYA has permission to use images, photos, videos, audio recordings, or other representations of my child captured during programs for promotional purposes. These materials may appear in school publications, on websites, in local newspapers, on social media, or through affiliated partners. I understand that published materials may be shared or reshared by others, including social media accounts or partner organizations.

I understand that if my child’s behavior is highly disruptive or unsafe, they may be asked to leave the class without a refund. I will encourage my child to be respectful toward and supportive of their classmates and teacher.
